Terms of service
Last updated 24 October 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Vivek Verma, who runs Truckseat. By creating an account you agree to them. If you use Truckseat for a business, you agree for that business. Questions: hello@truckseat.app.
The service
Truckseat helps you draft estimates by talking through a job, send estimates and invoices, collect approvals, and remind clients to pay. Truckseat is in beta: features will change, some may be removed, and there will be rough edges. It is free during the beta; we will tell you well in advance before anything costs money, and nothing will be charged without your agreement.
Your account
You need to be 18 or older and give a working email address. Keep access to that email secure: anyone who can read it can sign in. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
Drafts are yours to check
Estimates, lines, prices and replies drafted by the assistant can be wrong. Review every estimate and invoice before you send it. You are responsible for your prices, taxes, the work you quote, and what you send your clients.
Your clients
You may only add and contact clients you have a business relationship with, and you are responsible for having their agreement to be contacted about their job, including by automatic reminders. Do not use Truckseat to send marketing or unsolicited email.
Payments between you and your clients
Truckseat does not take, hold or move money. Your clients pay you directly. Payments you record in the app are your own records.
Acceptable use
Don't use Truckseat for anything unlawful, to harass anyone, to send spam, to upload content you have no right to, or to try to break, overload or get around the service's security.
Your content
What you put in (recordings, photos, jobs, clients, prices) stays yours. You give us permission to store and process it only to run Truckseat for you, as described in the privacy policy.
Ending
You can stop at any time and delete your account from Settings. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put the service or others at risk, and we may end the beta; if we do, we will give you notice and a way to get your data out where we reasonably can.
No warranty
Truckseat is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We don't promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every email will be delivered.
Limit on liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits, lost jobs or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or 100 US dollars. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect; continuing to use Truckseat after that means you accept it.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes go to its courts, unless the law where you live says otherwise.
